About Me: Check out my website: www.shanewyatt.com or www.myspace.com/shanewyattmusic Shane was born in a small town in south central Oklahoma and raised by a family of cowboys and truckers. Shane’s singing and songwriting was heavily influenced by the soulful country singers whose pain and joy was so evident in every song they sang – Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard and Alan Jackson. When he moved to bigger stages, Shane remembered the entertainers he has admired as a child – Hank Williams, Jr., Garth Brooks, and Chris LeDoux. Shane’s goal on stage is to put on a high energy show and bring everyone to their feet – all while sticking to his roots and “not doing anything that would my Grandmother wouldn’t approve of”. Wherever this journey takes him, Shane is ready. “All I can do is put myself out there – the real me, with no filters or additives. I think people know an honest song when they hear it”.

Music: Shane’s debut album "The Last Cowboy" will be released on June 14, 2008 at GB Leighton's Pickle Park! Shane wrote every song on the album. The mix of tunes is a reflection of all of his influences – modern, edgy declarations of love, soulful ballads, cowboy honesty, and high energy, boot kickin’ anthems. And because they all came from his heart, his rich baritone voice brings them all to life.
